Terminology and Tactics
Armada - Three ships of a kind placed side by side for ultimate defence.
Bait - A sacrificial ship used to draw your friend's out.
Chase - When a ship is in open water and liable to a double attack.
Convoy - Three ships of a kind in a line. A flimzy yet aggresive formation.
Fleet - Two ships of a kind placed defencively side by side.
Neaping the tides - Opening the tides to balance the game and vary the maneuvers.
Springing the tides - Closing the tides distance to repell your friend's advance and set them on the coast.
Timber - Spare ships that have not yet come into play.
